Swap with purpose. Build the reaction.

Manganese Sprocket is a match-and-swap puzzle where every move has to justify itself. Exchange adjacent symbols, create groups of three or more and use the resulting clears to reach each level's point target before the available moves are gone.

A match matters most when it moves the level closer to its target.

Each stage combines a fixed move allowance with a specific point objective. That makes every exchange a strategic choice: clear something useful now, or prepare a stronger reaction for the next turn.

The rules stay simple while the consequences become harder to predict.

Exchange

Swap adjacent symbols

Touch or click a tile and exchange it with a neighboring symbol to create a useful alignment.

Align

Match three or more

Identical symbols arranged horizontally or vertically clear from the current layout and add points toward the level target.

Anticipate

Look for the reaction after the match

Cascading pieces can form additional combinations, making the result of one swap extend beyond the first clear.

Finish

Reach the target before moves expire

Complete the required score while enough moves remain to finish the current challenge.

The board after a match can be more important than the board before it.

Manganese Sprocket encourages players to think about chain reactions rather than isolated clears. Special tiles and cascading matches can accelerate progress toward the current point target.

  • Make the first useful match.
  • Watch the arrangement change.
  • Look for automatic follow-up clears.
  • Use special tiles when they improve the target run.

Progression adds new pressure without replacing the core swap-and-match rule.

Limited moves

Every action consumes part of a fixed allowance, making efficient sequencing central to success.

Special tiles

New tile types and power-ups appear as progression continues.

Stars & achievements

Completed levels can contribute to stars, achievements and broader progression.

Blockers and new mechanics

Later stages introduce obstacles and additional systems that make otherwise familiar matches more demanding to plan.

New chapters extend the puzzle by changing what surrounds each familiar move.

Early stages establish adjacent swapping and point-based targets. Progression then introduces additional tile types, obstacles, power-ups and increasingly complex layouts, asking for more deliberate choices from the same basic interaction.

Strong level runs feed into longer-term mastery.

Finishing challenges can earn stars and unlock achievements while continued progress opens additional chapters and puzzle variations.

Achievements

Milestones provide another layer of progression beyond simply clearing the next stage.
